13 Days Beijing to Lhasa with Everest Base Camp Tour by Train

Airport pick-up service and private transfer to your downtown hotel for check-in. Free time to rest and explore the surrounding area at your own pace. Overnight in Beijing.

Visit Tiananmen Square, the magnificent Forbidden City and the imperial Summer Palace, a masterpiece of classical Chinese garden architecture. Overnight in Beijing.

Visit the well-preserved Mutianyu Great Wall with stunning mountain views. In the afternoon, pass by the Bird's Nest Stadium and Water Cube Olympic venues for exterior views. Overnight in Beijing.

Visit the Temple of Heaven and a traditional old Beijing hutong in the morning, then board the long-distance train to Lhasa. Overnight on the train.

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Tibetan plateau, alpine lakes, vast grasslands and wild high-altitude landscapes along the world's highest railway. Overnight on the train.

Arrive in Lhasa and transfer to your hotel. Take a full day of gentle rest to acclimatize to the high altitude with no scheduled activities. Overnight in Lhasa.

Drive to the Everest region via Gyawu La Pass, visit Rongbuk Monastery, and reach Everest Base Camp with close-up Himalayan peak views. Overnight near Everest.

Enjoy the golden sunrise over Mount Everest, then drive back to Shigatse via Gyawu La Pass with panoramic high-altitude mountain views. Overnight in Shigatse.

Visit the grand Tashilhunpo Monastery in the morning, then return to Lhasa via a combined train and private car transfer. Overnight in Lhasa.
