8:00–11:00 Visit the Terracotta Army Museum

Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and UNESCO World Heritage Site, acclaimed as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
  • Scale & History: Built over 2,200 years ago to guard the mausoleum of China’s first emperor, it houses more than 8,000 life-sized terracotta warriors, horses and chariots, each with unique facial features and hairstyles.
  • Three Main Pits:
    • Pit 1: The largest, with a massive infantry formation in strict battle order.
    • Pit 2: The most sophisticated, combining cavalry, archers and chariots.
    • Pit 3: The command headquarters, representing the military command system of the Qin Dynasty.

Located in the Daci’en Temple complex, this pagoda is a Silk Road World Heritage Site (inscribed in 2014) and a symbol of Tang Dynasty Buddhism.
  • History: Built in 652 AD under the supervision of Master Xuanzang to house 657 Buddhist scriptures, statues and relics he brought back from India after a 17-year pilgrimage.
  • Architecture: The earliest and largest existing square pavilion-style brick pagoda of the Tang Dynasty, standing 64.7 meters tall with 7 stories. It features a sturdy pyramid shape and exquisite brick-carved wooden-like structures.

16:00–17:30 Visit the Xi’an City Wall

A national 5A-level attraction and the largest, oldest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China.
  • History: Originated in 582 AD (Sui Dynasty) as Daxing City, expanded in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the early Ming Dynasty; bricked in 1568 to its present form.
  • Specifications: 12 meters high, 12–14 meters wide at the top, 15–18 meters thick at the base, with a total perimeter of 13.7 kilometers. It has 4 main gates, 98 watchtowers and a complete moat system.
  • Experience: Walk or cycle along the wall for panoramic views of ancient and modern Xi’an, feeling the majesty of ancient military defense engineering.

Huashan is located south of Huayin City, Weinan, about 120 kilometers east of Xi’an. It is known as the Western Mountain among China’s Five Great Mountains, a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a sacred Taoist mountain.
