Day 2：
9:00–11:30: Guilin – Xianggong Mountain (about 90 minutes)
Xianggong Mountain is located in Xingping Town, Yangshuo County, Guilin, Guangxi, on the west bank of the Li River, between Huangbu Beach and Nine-Horse Painting Hill. It is about 57 km from downtown Guilin and 28 km from Yangshuo town.
The mountain got its name because its shape resembles an ancient Chinese scholar-official wearing a high formal hat.
12:00–13:00: Lunch at your own expense
Lunch is on your own. There are many restaurants near the scenic area where you can enjoy local specialties.
13:30–17:00: Li River Bamboo Raft – Xingping Ancient Town
The combination of a Li River bamboo raft ride and a visit to Xingping Ancient Town is a highlight of Guilin’s landscape, offering visitors a poetic and picturesque experience.
The Li River bamboo raft tour is a signature activity in Guilin and Yangshuo. The rafts at Yangdi, Xingping, and Guanlian docks have all been upgraded to electric-powered rafts, making the trip more comfortable and peaceful.
Xingping Ancient Town is in northeastern Yangshuo, along the upper reaches of the Li River. It is an ancient town with a history of more than 1,000 years. Many well-preserved buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties remain, featuring ancient streets, lanes, and houses with black tiles, blue bricks, and upturned eaves, full of classic charm.
Day 3：
9:00–11:30: Cycling along the Yulong River – Yulong River Famous Net-Red Swing
If the Li River is a grand scroll of Guilin’s mountains and waters, the Yulong River is an elegant painting of peaceful countryside.
Here you will find clear waters, continuous karst peaks, and quiet rural villages, away from noisy crowds. The best way to enjoy this relaxing scenery is to cycle along the river and take a moment on the famous swing, letting your body and mind unwind in the landscape.
12:00–13:00: Yangshuo Beer Fish (50 RMB standard)
Guilin Yangshuo Beer Fish is a famous local dish. In September 2018, it was named one of the Top 10 Classic Guangxi Dishes of “Chinese Cuisine”.
13:00–17:00: Bus Tour of the Ten-Mile Gallery – Scenic Afternoon Tea
The Ten-Mile Gallery is a beautiful scenic area in Yangshuo, where every step offers a new view. It features green peaks, lovely countryside, flowing streams, and gentle smoke from village houses, showing the grace of karst landscapes and the leisure of rural life.
A comfortable bus tour paired with an afternoon tea in the mountains is the perfect way to experience the romance and relaxation of Yangshuo.
Day 4：
9:00–11:30: Silver Cave
Silver Cave is a national AAAA-level scenic area. It is located east of Ligui Highway, Maling Town, Lipu City, Guilin, near National Highway 321. It is about 85 km from downtown Guilin and 3 km from the border of Yangshuo County.
12:00–13:00: Lunch at your own expense
Lunch is on your own. There are many dining choices near the scenic area to taste local food.
13:00–17:00: Elephant Trunk Hill – Transfer to airport / train station according to departure schedule
Elephant Trunk Hill, originally known as Li Mountain, stands at the confluence of the Taohua River and the Li River in Guilin. It is named for its striking resemblance to an elephant drinking water with its trunk.
It is a typical karst formation. About 200 million years ago, due to crustal movement, the mountain gradually rose above sea level. After long-term weathering and erosion, it formed its unique shape today.
