Day 2 Terracotta Army • Giant Wild Goose Pagoda • Xi’an City Wall

Our tour guide will wait for you in the hotel lobby. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by phone, WeChat or hotel front desk before 20:00 the previous day.
During peak seasons and public holidays, the pick-up time may be adjusted earlier to avoid traffic congestion. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
08:00–11:00 Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (Terracotta Army)
Introduction
Known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", the Terracotta Army is a national 5A-level scenic area and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It includes Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3 and the Bronze Chariots Exhibition Hall. Thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors and horses display the magnificent military formation of the Qin Dynasty, representing extraordinary ancient Chinese craftsmanship.

13:00–16:00 Giant Wild Goose Pagoda & Daci’en Temple
Introduction
Built in 652 AD under the supervision of Monk Xuanzang, the pagoda was used to house Buddhist scriptures, statues and relics brought back from India. Standing 64.7 meters tall with 7 stories, it is the earliest and best-preserved square pavilion-style brick pagoda of the Tang Dynasty. In 2014, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the "Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor".
16:00–17:30 Xi’an City Wall
Introduction
Originally constructed in 582 AD during the Sui Dynasty and expanded in the early Ming Dynasty, Xi’an City Wall is the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China. With a total circumference of about 13.7 km, visitors may walk or cycle along the wall for a panoramic view of the ancient city.

Day 3 Hukou Waterfall • Huangdi Mausoleum

08:00–12:00 Drive to Hukou Waterfall
Located in Yichuan County, Yan’an, Hukou Waterfall is about 3.5–4 hours’ drive from Xi’an and one of the most famous natural wonders nearby.
12:00–13:00 Meals
At your own arrangement. Local farm dishes and Yellow River fish specialties are available.
13:00–15:00 Hukou Waterfall
Introduction
Hukou Waterfall is the second-largest waterfall in China and the largest yellow waterfall in the world. The Yellow River narrows sharply from over 300 meters to 20–30 meters and plunges 20 meters down a cliff, creating the spectacular view of "The Yellow River rushing into a single pot". It was officially recognized as a national 5A-level scenic area in 2022.
15:00–17:00 Huangdi Mausoleum & Xuanyuan Temple
Introduction
Huangdi Mausoleum is the mausoleum of Xuanyuan Huangdi, the legendary ancestor of the Chinese nation. The site includes the mausoleum and Xuanyuan Temple, home to a cypress tree allegedly planted by Huangdi himself about 5,000 years ago, as well as stone inscriptions by historical figures. It is a sacred site for Chinese descendants worldwide.

Day 4 Huashan Mountain Adventure

Huashan, located in Huayin City, is about 120 km from Xi’an. Known as "West Mountain" among China’s Five Great Mountains, it is a national 5A-level scenic area.

At your own arrangement. Restaurants are available at the foot of the mountain and tourist center.
12:00–17:00 Huashan Mountain Tour
Introduction
Formed by a single massive granite rock, Huashan is famous as "the steepest mountain under heaven". It has five main peaks: East Peak (Sunrise), West Peak (Lotus), South Peak (Wild Goose Landing, the highest), North Peak (Cloud Terrace) and Middle Peak (Maiden). Visitors may take cable cars and enjoy scenic spots such as Canglong Ridge and the Plank Road in the Sky.

Xi’an Museum is built around the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Jianfu Temple of the Tang Dynasty. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda was constructed over 1,300 years ago with a simple and elegant style. The museum integrates cultural relics exhibitions, ancient architecture and gardens, showcasing the millennium history of Xi’an with a unique "round sky and square earth" architectural concept.
