8:00–11:00 Visit Temple of Heaven
  • The Temple of Heaven is a sacred imperial site for worshipping Heaven in the Ming and Qing dynasties and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every brick and tile embodies Chinese ritual culture and architectural wisdom.
  • Visit the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, walk along the Danbi Bridge (Imperial Path), and enjoy the amazing Echo Wall to experience oriental architectural beauty and profound history.
  • Explore the ancient astronomical design of the Circular Mound Altar, where emperors held grand winter solstice ceremonies.

13:00–16:00 Visit Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City
  • Enjoy about 30 minutes for photos at Tiananmen Square, the venue for major national ceremonies and celebrations. As the heart of the central axis, it witnesses the glory of China.
  • The Forbidden City is the world’s largest and best-preserved ancient wooden architectural complex, covering over 720,000 square meters with about 9,999 and a half rooms.
  • It features a symmetrical central axis. The Outer Court centers on the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Central Harmony and Hall of Preserving Harmony. The Inner Court focuses on the Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union and Palace of Earthly Tranquility.
  • With red walls, golden tiles and exquisite decorations, it presents a magnificent imperial scene.

16:00–17:00 Visit Jingshan Park
  • Jingshan Park is located at the central point of Beijing’s north-south central axis, a historic imperial garden.

  • Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District, 73 km from downtown Beijing. It is one of the best-preserved and longest sections of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall.

  • The Bird’s Nest features a unique steel structure; the Water Cube shines with blue bubble-like membranes. The Long Dragon Water System runs through the park, adding graceful beauty.
  • Explore the Olympic culture exhibition and take photos with these iconic modern landmarks.

15:00–17:30 Dashilan & Wangfujing Pedestrian Street
  • Dashilan is located in the Qianmen area, with over 500 years of history, prospering since the Qing Dynasty. It is home to century-old Chinese brands and traditional Beijing snacks.
  • Wangfujing Street dates back to 1267. It became a famous commercial street after the opening of Dong’an Market in 1903, perfect for shopping and souvenirs.
  • Local Recommendation: Try traditional snacks at Wangfujing Snack Street, including candied hawthorns, fried chestnuts, and Beijing-style yogurt.

  • Also visit rare species from around the world, including golden monkeys, South China tigers, and African elephants.

  • Local Recommendation: Enjoy authentic Sichuan or northern Chinese cuisine near the zoo, including mapo tofu, Kung Pao chicken, and hand-pulled noodles.

13:00–17:00 Take high-speed train to Xi’an
  • Experience China’s world-class high-speed railway system on a 4.5-hour bullet train journey from Beijing to Xi’an.
  • Xi’an, an ancient city with many attractions including Huaqing Palace and the Terracotta Army, is one of the must-visit destinations in China, the starting point of the ancient Silk Road.
  • Upon arrival, transfer to your Xi’an hotel and check in.

  • Huaqing Palace is located 30 km east of Xi’an, adjacent to the Terracotta Army. It is one of China’s first 5A-level scenic spots and a key national cultural relic protection unit.
  • It is not only a time-honored imperial palace (a favorite resort of Tang Dynasty emperors) but also a charming tourist attraction, famous for its natural hot springs and Tang Dynasty cultural relics.
  • Explore the historic sites related to the love story of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, and the Xi’an Incident of 1936.

  • The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is a symbol of Xi’an, built in the Tang Dynasty to house Buddhist scriptures brought back from India by the monk Xuanzang.

  • Tianzi Mountain: Named after the Tujia leader Xiang Dakun in the early Ming Dynasty, offering panoramic views of the entire peak forest.

  • A 5A-level scenic spot combining natural wonders and cultural heritage, known as “the most sacred mountain in western Hunan”.
  • Take the world’s longest cable car to ascend the mountain, enjoying breathtaking views of the karst landscape.
  • Visit Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate), the world’s highest natural arch, and walk the 999 steps to the cave entrance.
  • Experience the thrilling Glass Skywalk on the mountain cliff, 1,400 meters above the ground.
  • Explore the ancient Tianmen Temple and other cultural relics on the mountain.

14:00–15:00 Lunch at your own expense + transfer to airport / train station
