8:00–11:00 Visit Huaqing Palace
Huaqing Palace, also known as Huaqing Hot Springs, is a famous imperial garden with a history of over 3,000 years. First built in the early Tang Dynasty, it reached its peak during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong, who renamed it “Huaqing Palace” and visited almost every October.

Romantic Legend: Famous for the eternal love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei (Concubine Yang), immortalized in the classic poem Song of Everlasting Sorrow.

Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”, this is the mausoleum of the first emperor who unified China, with a rigorous layout and grand scale.

8:00–11:00 Visit Qianling Mausoleum
Qianling Mausoleum is a National 5A Tourist Attraction and National Archaeological Site Park, located on Liang Mountain, 6 km north of Qian County, Xianyang, about 76 km from Xi’an.

Unique Value: The only mausoleum in the world where two emperors (Emperor Gaozong of Tang and Wu Zetian, China’s only female emperor) of a couple are buried together.
