8:00–11:00 Huaqing Palace
Huaqing Palace, also known as Huaqing Hot Springs, is a historic imperial garden at the foot of Lishan Mountain. With over 3,000 years of hot spring heritage, emperors of Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui and Tang dynasties built palaces here. It reached its golden age under Tang Emperor Xuanzong, who renamed it Huaqing Palace and visited every autumn.
- The eternal love story of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, recorded in the classic poem Song of Everlasting Sorrow.

12:00–15:30 Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum (Terracotta Army)
Famous as the Eighth Wonder of the World, this iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The underground clay army was constructed to guard Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife, buried 1.5 kilometers east of the emperor’s mausoleum.

7:00–12:00 Drive to Hukou Waterfall
Hukou Waterfall sits on the Shaanxi-Shanxi border in Yichuan County, Yan’an. Though not within Xi’an city limits, it is the most popular natural waterfall day trip for its overwhelming Yellow River landscape.

13:00–15:00 Hukou Waterfall
China’s second-largest waterfall and the world’s largest yellow waterfall. The vast Yellow River narrows abruptly from 300 meters to only 20–30 meters, plunging over 20 meters into a deep gorge, forming the spectacular scene "Thousand-Mile Yellow River Pouring into a Kettle". It is a national AAAAA scenic spot and a spiritual symbol of the Chinese nation.

15:00–17:00 Huangdi Mausoleum & Xuanyuan Temple (Huangling County)
Known as "The First Mausoleum Under Heaven", this sacred site is the resting place of Huangdi, the legendary common ancestor of all Chinese people.

- Located on Qiaoshan Mountain, the 3.6m-tall mound is enclosed by brick walls with a perimeter of 48 meters.
- Famous stone steles inscribed with "Dragon Ascent at Qiaoshan" and the official "Huangdi Mausoleum" calligraphy by Guo Moruo.
- Hanwu Immortal Terrace, built by Emperor Wu of Han for sacrificial rituals.
Xuanyuan Temple
- Built at the eastern foot of Qiaoshan Mountain, first constructed in Han Dynasty and relocated in Song Dynasty.
- The 5,000-year-old Huangdi Cypress, hailed as the oldest cypress tree worldwide.
- Historic stone steles with Ode to the Yellow Emperor Mausoleum and ancient sacrificial records.
