Travel Itinerary

9 Days Panorama Tibet Tour from Lhasa to EBC with Namtso Lake

Airport pick-up service and transfer to your downtown hotel for check-in. Take a full day rest to acclimatize to the high altitude, with no scheduled activities arranged.

Visit Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and the historic Barkhor Street. Experience authentic Tibetan Buddhist culture and enjoy a traditional Tibetan-style dinner in the evening. Overnight in Lhasa.

Visit the world-famous Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery. Explore the profound Tibetan heritage and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Lhasa city. Overnight in Lhasa.

Drive along the scenic southern Tibet route, visit Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier and Palkhor Monastery. Enjoy stunning alpine lake and snow mountain scenery along the journey. Overnight in Shigatse.

Pass through Gawula Pass with panoramic views of five 8000-meter peaks. Visit Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world. Enjoy a hot pot dinner at the Everest Base Camp area. Overnight at a local guesthouse near Everest.

Watch the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Everest, then visit Everest Base Camp. Drive back to Shigatse via Gawula Pass in the afternoon. Overnight in Shigatse.

Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama. Drive back to Lhasa along the Yarlung Tsangpo River valley. Overnight in Lhasa.

Visit Namtso Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet, with crystal-clear water and a snow-capped mountain backdrop. Return to Lhasa in the evening. Overnight in Lhasa.

Complete hotel check-out procedures. Enjoy private transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport, concluding your 9-day Tibet exploration journey.
