Badaling Great Wall & Ming Tombs Dingling Underground Palace Private Day Tour
Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time to start the day. First, head to the Ming Tombs, the best-preserved royal tomb complex in China with 500 years of history. You will visit Dingling, the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wanli and the first systematically excavated royal tomb in China. Spend around two hours exploring the maze-like underground palace and learning about the rich history and exquisite architecture of the imperial tombs. After the visit, stop at a local jade carving factory for a 45-minute tour, where you can admire exquisite traditional jade craftsmanship and learn about Chinese jade culture.
After the morning sightseeing, enjoy a delicious traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant (lunch fee is not included, pay on site).
Continue your journey to Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall of China. You will have two hours to explore this iconic landmark at your own pace. The highest point of Badaling sits at around 800 meters above sea level, and you can opt to take the cable car for a more convenient climb and breathtaking panoramic views. After a full day of exploration and cultural experiences, you will be transferred back to your hotel to end the tour.
